RE: Procedural Request to extend the reply deadline for Telecom Notice of Consultation 2023-48, Call for comments – Facilities-based wholesale mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) access tariffs – Considering the inclusion of additional retail market segments
On 5 June 2023, TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI) filed a procedural request for an extension of the reply deadline for Notice of Consultation 2023-48 Call for comments – Facilities-based wholesale mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) access tariffs – Considering the inclusion of additional retail market segments (NOC 2023-48), until 12 June 2023.
TCI requested a 2-day extension due to an unexpected staff illness that impacted its ability to meet the 8 June 2023 deadline. In this circumstance, TCI submitted that a short extension would be reasonable and would not result in undue delay or prejudice.
Given the lengthy extension already granted to parties in this proceeding, Commission staff considers that the reply deadline established in NOC 2023-48-1 is appropriate and should not be further extended.
