Subject: Part 1 application for an immediate and comprehensive review of the wholesale roaming tariff rates of the National Wireless Carriers – Supplementary requests for information
On 16 March 2023, the Commission staff addressed requests for information (RFIs) to wireless carriers. In particular, Bell Mobility Inc. (Bell Mobility), Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (Rogers), and Telus Communications Inc. (TELUS) (collectively the National Wireless Carriers “NWCs”) were requested in Staff Letter addressed to the Distribution List - Bell Mobility/Rogers/TELUS (CRTC) 16 March 2023-6(a) to provide the total retail revenues from the provision of mobile wireless data services in Canada to Canadian subscribers for each of the years 2018 to 2022. In response, the NWCs provided the total retail mobile services for each of the years 2018 to 2022, noting that they no longer segmented revenues by data, voice and text.
To supplement the responses referenced above, Bell Mobility, Rogers and TELUS are to file responses to the RFI set out in Attachment 1, serving copies on all parties, by 2 June 2023.
Parties are reminded that any claims for confidentiality must be made in accordance with the requirements set out in the CRTC Rules of Practice and Procedure, including, for example, the requirement to file abridged versions of documents.
All documents must be received, and not merely sent, by the date indicated

Appendix
RFI addressed to each of Bell Mobility, Rogers and TELUS
1. With respect to the total mobile service revenue filed in response to (CRTC) 16 March 2023-6(a), provide the following separately for the company’s main brand and for each of the company’s flanker/affiliate brands for each of the years 2018 to 2022:
- Revenue from retail customers that subscribe to voice and/or text only plans.*
- Revenue from the sale of mobile phones and devices.*
*If the specific revenue information is not collected by the company, provide your best estimate along with a detailed explanation of the manner by which the estimate was derived.
