Subject: Extension of time for Nunavut Independent Television Network to file a response related to its application for a discretionary service licence and mandatory distribution on the digital basic service pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(h) of the Broadcasting Act. (2021-0527-0)
This letter is in response to Nunavut Independent Television Network’s (NITV) request dated 22 February 2023 to extend the deadline to respond to the Commission staff’s request for information (RFI) related to the application noted above. Responses were to be filed by27 February 2023. In its letter, the applicant requests an extension of time of 48 hours or until 1 March 2023.
Staff considers the extension request to be reasonable given the number of questions contained in the letter. Staff therefore extends the deadline to 1 March 2023 for NITV to file its responses to the RFI.
