Dear Stephen and Jean-François:

On 23 March 2022, TELUS responded to a staff letter regarding Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2020-269-2 (the proceeding), requesting that the Commission designate persons authorized to accept undertakings in relation to the proceeding.

Pursuant to section 72.004 of the Telecommunications Act, the Commission has designated classes of persons that are authorized to accept undertakings in relation to the proceeding.

Should TELUS or Iristel wish to discuss entering into an undertaking, they are invited to contact Philippe Nadeau at The Commission is allowing 60 days, beginning on the day this letter is issued, for parties to negotiate and enter into an undertaking, before the Commission publishes any substantive decisions relating to the proceeding.

We look forward to hearing from you by 10 October 2022, after which it will be presumed that you are not interested in entering an undertaking and the Commission may issue substantive decisions in relation to the proceeding.
