RE: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2020-178 – Response to CNSDB procedural request – Costs
To Whom It May Concern:
On 11 February 2022, Commission staff issued a letter indicating that applications for costs awards in the above-noted proceeding were to be filed by 28 March 2022.
On 23 March 2022, the Canadian National Society of the Deaf-Blind (CNSDB) filed a procedural request.
CNSDB explained that it required additional time to file its costs application and requested an extension to 8 April 2022. On 24 March 2022, the DHH Coalition, the Canada Deaf Grassroots Movement (CDGM) and the Deaf Wireless Canada Committee filed letters supporting CNSDB’s request. The DHH Coalition and CDGM requested that the same extension be granted to other parties.
CNSDB provided rationale for its request and no party opposed it. Further, there is no reason to believe any party would be prejudiced by an extension for all parties.
Accordingly, parties may file costs applications in this proceeding by 8 April 2022.
