Renaming of ES1 as MGGTV on the List of non-Canadian programming services and stations authorized for distribution

In Addition of ES1 to the List of non-Canadian programing services and stations authorized for distribution, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2019-98, 3 April 2019, the Commission added ES1 to the List of non-Canadian programming services and stations authorized for distribution (the list). ES1 is a French-language niche service offering programming dedicated to eSports and video games. The service originates from France and mainly targets 12 to 40 year olds who are passionate about video game competitions.
In a letter to the Commission dated 11 January 2022, THEMA Canada Inc. indicated that ES1 would change its name to MGGTV, effective 1 February 2022. Accordingly, the Commission amends the list to reflect this name change. The revised list can be found on the Commission’s website at www.crtc.gc.ca and may be obtained in hard copy on request.
