RE: Bell Canada Tariff Notice (TN) 969 – Introduction of Next Generation 9-1-1 Service

Philippe Gauvin:

On 18 November 2021, the Commission received an application from Bell Canada under TN 969, proposing revisions to the company’s National Services Tariff, Item 601 – Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Service in order to introduce a rate range for NG9-1-1 Service, which will be applicable to the monthly rate for retail wireline subscribers.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis of the application.

Consequently, this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to make its decision regarding the application and any subsequent revisions within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
