RE: Northwestel - Tariff Notice 1122 – General Tariff – Terrestrial Internet Services
Dear Stan Thompson:
On 20 April 2021, the Commission received an application from Northwestel, under Tariff Notice 1122, in which the company proposed changes to Northwestel's General Tariff CRTC 3001 – Item 1735 – Terrestrial Internet Services, in order to decrease the rates of its residential unlimited packages and to give unlimited data to all its current capped 125 and 250 Mbps residential Internet packages subscribers.
Commission staff is continuing its analysis of this application. Consequently, this application will not be disposed of within the intended timelines communicated in the June 2021 letter. However, the Commission intends to issue a final decision regarding the application and any subsequent revisions by the end of the 2021 calendar year.
Sincerely,
