RE:  Bell Aliant Tariff Notice 549 and Bell MTS Tariff Notice 833 – General Tariff and Access Services Tariff – Update to 9-1-1 tariff provisions for Relay Service

Dear Mr. Gauvin:

On 1 June 2021, the Commission received applications from Bell Aliant, a division of Bell Canada (Bell Aliant), under Tariff Notice 549, and Bell MTS, a division of Bell Canada (Bell MTS), under Tariff Notice 833, in which the companies proposed to update certain provisions of their respective General Tariff and Access Services tariffs in relation to Relay Services in order to align with the provisions that exist in other approved tariffs.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis of this application.

Consequently, this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
