Re: Northwestel Inc. Tariff Notice (TN) 1122 – Terrestrial Internet Services

Dear Mr. Thompson:

On April 20, 2021, the Commission received an application from Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel), under Tariff Notice 1122. Northwestel proposed changes to its General Tariff CRTC 3001 – Item 1735 – Terrestrial Internet Services in order to decrease the price of its residential unlimited packages and, coincident with this price decrease, to give unlimited data to all current capped 125 and 250 Mbps residential Internet package subscribers.

Commission staff is analyzing the application.

Consequently, this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to make its decision regarding the application and any subsequent revisions within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.

Sincerely,
