Re: Call for comments – The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Accessibility Reporting Regulations

Dear Madam or Sir,

On 18 February 2021, the Commission published Telecom and Broadcasting Notice of Consultation 2021-69. This Notice invites the public to comment on the draft Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Accessibility Reporting Regulations (Regulations), which are to be made under the Accessible Canada Act (ACA).

These Regulations are meant to complement the ACA’s reporting requirement for broadcasting and telecom companies regulated by the Commission. The ACA creates these requirements, and the Regulations set out the associated procedures.

You are receiving this letter as you or your organization was on the distribution list for the Commission proceeding that led to the development of these draft regulations.Footnote1

You are encouraged to review the Notice in order to determine whether you would be interested in sharing your comments with the Commission.

Please feel free to share this letter with any regulated entity, organization or individual that may be interested in participating in this proceeding.

Sincerely,

 [original signed by]
