RE: Tariff Notice 12 – Interconnection with Interexchange Service Providers (IXSPs) Trunk Side Access -Routing of 800/888 calls

Dear Mr. Dumoulin:

On 5 February 2021, the Commission received an application by Iristel Inc. (Iristel), under Tariff Notice 12, in which it proposed revisions to its Access Services Tariff CRTC 21670 to introduce Item 302 Interconnection with Interexchange Service Providers (IXSPs) Trunk Side Access -Routing of 800/888 calls. This proposed service will permit Iristel to charge a rate equivalent to the rates listed in the Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier tariffs for toll-free (800/888) carrier identification charge.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis of this application.

Consequently, this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
