Dear Mr. White:
On 8 January 2021, the Competitive Network Operators of Canada (CNOC) filed an application, pursuant to sections 24, 27, 47 and 57, subsection 61(1) and paragraph 32(g) of the Telecommunications Act, as well as Part 1 of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) Rules of Practice and Procedure, seeking an expedited and temporary resale remedy for competitive access to incumbent fibre-to-the-premises facilities.
In a letter dated 15 February 2020, CNOC requested a four-day extension, from 22 February to 25 February 2021, for filing its reply in light of its intent to meaningfully and comprehensively address all interventions and arguments.
Commission staff considers that CNOC has provided a reasonable explanation as to why an extension would be warranted in this instance, and considers that granting its request would not prejudice parties to this proceeding.
Accordingly, CNOC may file reply comments by 25 February 2021.
