Subject: Broadcasting and Telecom Notice of Consultation (“BTNC”) CRTC 2020-81, Call for Comments - Provision of paper bills by communications service providers, (CRTC File No. 1011-NOC2020-0081) - Request for additional information

Dear Mr. Gauvin,

In Broadcasting and Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2020-81 and in the Request for information dated 30 November 2020 (November RFI), the Commission asked that companies’ responses must address its practices as a TSP and/or a BDU, as well as the practices of any brands and subsidiaries. It appears that Bell Canada failed to address the billing practices of two of its flanker brands, specifically Lucky Mobile and PC Mobile.

Bell Canada is requested to provide responses for all of the questions set out in the November RFI with respect to the practices of the above-mentioned brands. Alternatively, if these brands strictly provide pre-paid services and do not issue billing statements to customers, then that should be indicated in your response.

In order to ensure completeness of the public record, additional information is to be filed with the Commission by 4 February 2021. All responses are to be received, and not merely sent, by that date. Responses will be posted on the Commission website shortly after they are received and can be found at the following link 1011-NOC2020-0081.

Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must actually be received by the Commission, not merely sent, by that date.

Further, any party to this proceeding may now file final replies on the responses by no later than 11 February 2021.

A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.

Should you have any questions, please contact Patrick Arseneau, Senior Analyst, Social and Consumer Policy, at patrick.arseneau@crtc.gc.ca.

Yours sincerely,

Original Signed
