Re: Tariff Notice 1112 – Monthly Recurring Charges
Dear Mr. Thompson:
On 16 December 2020, the Commission received an application by Northwestel Inc., under Tariff Notice 1112, in which it proposed changes to General Tariff CRTC 3001, Item 301 – Service Charges in order to introduce language that permits it to waive one month's recurring charges for the primary access service (Item 207) and/or Internet service (Item 1735) when the Company initiates an upgrade for a residential or business single-line customer's service from copper to fibre, from copper to coaxial cable or from coaxial cable to fibre.
Commission staff is continuing its analysis of this application.
Consequently, this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
Sincerely,
