Subject: Part 1 licence amendment application 2021-0454-5 - Extension to the deadline of the intervention period.

Dear Mr. Di Felice,

On 11 July 2021, the Commission received a Part 1 application by TLN Media Group Inc. (TLN) requesting an amendment to the EuroWorld Sport (EWS) broadcasting licence to operate a Discretionary service serving various locations throughout Canada.

Section 28(1)(a) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure (the Rules) provides that we may request parties to file information, particulars or documents where needed, even once an application is published further to the Rules.

On 30 July 2021, Commission staff sent TLN a request for additional information related to licencing requirements.  On 6 August 2021, you filed your response and this information has now been added to the public record of the above-mentioned application.

In light of introducing new information to the record of this proceeding, the deadline for submitting interventions related to application 2021-0454-5 will be extended by 5 days in order to allow interested parties to comment on said information. You will then have 10 days to file your reply to any interventions. Accordingly, the new deadline to submit interventions is 23 August 2021 and the new deadline for your response is 2 September 2021.

The Commission requires that you submit your documents electronically using the secured service “My CRTC Account” (Partner Log In or GCKey) and fill in the “Broadcasting and Telecom Cover page” located on this web page. On this web page, you will also find a link to information on the submission of applications to the Commission “Submitting applications and other documents to the CRTC using My CRTC Account.”

A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.

Sincerely,

Adrian Lippert
