Decision of the Broadcasting Arbitrator

1. On 31 March 2021, the Broadcasting Arbitrator released a decision, with reasons, and an order with respect to the 2021 Allocation of Paid Time. This decision, made pursuant to sections 337(3) and 343(2) of the Canada Elections Act (the Act), replaces the 2020 Allocation of Paid Time.
2. The Commission is required, pursuant to section 342(1) of the Act, to notify broadcasters and network operators of such allocations.
3. The Decision and Order of the Broadcasting Arbitrator may be viewed in full by going to the Elections Canada website.
