RE:  Bell MTS Tariff Notice 828, Bell Canada Tariff Notices 7622 and 7624 – General Tariff, Revised Contract Extension Provisions

On 10 November 2020, the Commission received applications from Bell MTS under Tariff Notice 828 and Bell Canada under Tariff Notice 7622, and on 12 November from Bell Canada under Tariff Notice 7624, in which the companies proposed revisions to i) Bell MTS, a division of Bell Canada, General Tariff CRTC 24001, Item 1980 – Centrex Service; ii) Bell Canada General Tariff CRTC 6716, Item 670 – Centrex III Service; and iii) Bell Canada General Tariff CRTC 6716, Item 50 – Remote Electronic Metering Access Service (REMAS). Under Tariff Notice 828 and Tariff Notice 7622 the company proposed to revise the existing contract extension provisions, and under Tariff Notice 7624 the company proposed to revise contract extension and negotiation provisions for REMAS.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis of these applications.

Consequently, these applications, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of these applications, along with any associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
