RE: Part 1 Application filed by City Wide Communications requesting an Order directing Bragg Communications Inc. operating as Eastlink to move its TPIA POI from Pennant Point to the core of Halifax – Requests for Information

To All:

The Commission is in receipt of a Part 1 application filed by City Wide Communications Inc. (City Wide) dated 22 May 2020.  In its application, City Wide requests, amongst other matters, an order requiring Bragg Communications Inc., operating as Eastlink (Eastlink), to move its Nova Scotia based point of interconnection (POI) for the purposes of the company’s third party internet access service from Pennant Point to the core of Halifax.

Eastlink filed its answer to the application on 25 June 2020. Competitive Network Operators of Canada, Teksavvy Solutions Inc., Rogers Communications Canada Inc. and Shaw Communications Inc. filed interventions on the same day. City Wide filed its reply on 8 July 2020.

The Commission requires additional information from the various parties to complete the record and pursue its analysis of the Part 1 application filed by City Wide.

The following process is established for filing responses to the attached requests for information and for any subsequent requests for disclosure of information that is designated as confidential in the responses:

Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must be actually received, not merely sent, by that date.

Please contact Marc Pilon should you have any questions in regards to this letter and requests for information.

Sincerely,
