RE:  Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2019-57, Review of mobile wireless services – publication of reports from telephone survey and online consultation

Dear Madams, Sirs:

In Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2019-57, the Commission indicated that it intended to employ additional methods of engaging Canadians as part of this proceeding to gather their views on the state of the mobile wireless service market, and whether their needs are being met.

Consequently, the CRTC engaged the services of Phoenix SPI to conduct a study designed to help the Commission better understand the needs, behaviours and habits of Canadians when it comes to mobile wireless services. The study was conducted in November and December 2019 and involved two initiatives, namely, a public opinion research (POR) and an online consultation.

The study resulted in the following two reports developed by Phoenix SPI:

Both reports were released today and have been placed on the public record of the above-noted proceeding.
