Subject: Part 1 Application 2020-0504-0 - Technical Amendment CFFM-FM-2 Quesnel, BC.
Dear Mr. Russell,
On 18 August 2020, Vista Radio requested that the Commission shorten the timelines associated with the processing of its application to ensure the transmitter servicing Quesnel, BC continues to be operational. The applicant is requesting to relocate the transmitter for CFFM-FM-2 to the site of another station’s transmitter, CKCQ-FM Quesnel, BC. Accordingly, the timelines associated with processing the present application are in line with the timelines associated with application 2020-0515-7, CKCQ-FM Quesnel, BC.
Under the circumstances, Commission staff considers it appropriate that the timeframes for this application be shortened. As such, the timetable for the process has been revised as follows:
Interested parties will have until September 9 2020 to submit interventions relating to the application. The applicant will have until September 15 2020 to reply to interventions.
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
