Cable carriers’ revised tariff pages filed pursuant to Telecom Order 2020-60

Background

  1. In Terms and conditions of access to the cable carriers’ aggregated wholesale high-speed access services, Telecom Order CRTC 2020-60, 14 February 2020 (Telecom Order 2020-60), the Commission directed Bragg Communications Incorporated, carrying on business as Eastlink (Eastlink); Cogeco Communications inc. (Cogeco); Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of Videotron Ltd. (Videotron); Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (RCCI); and Shaw Cablesystems G.P. (Shaw) [collectively, the cable carriers], to file revised tariff pages within 30 days of the date of the order. In their tariff pages, the cable carriers were to reflect the Commission’s determinations, as set out in the Appendix to Telecom Order 2020-60, on the terms and conditions of their respective aggregated wholesale high-speed access (HSA) services, also known as third-party Internet access services.

Applications

  1. The cable carriers filed revised tariff pages for their respective HSA services on the following dates: RCCI on 12 March 2020, Cogeco and Shaw on 13 March 2020, and Eastlink and Videotron on 16 March 2020. On 16 July 2020, Eastlink added minor revisions to its 16 March 2020 filing.

Commission’s analysis and determinations

  1. The Commission finds that the revised tariff pages reflect its determinations set out in Telecom Order 2020-60. The Commission therefore approves on a final basis the revised tariff pages filed by Cogeco, Eastlink, RCCI, Shaw, and Videotron, effective the date of this order.
