RE: Extension Request regarding Telecom Decision CRTC 2019-19 – City of Calgary – Application concerning a Municipal Rights-of-Way Bylaw and a proposed Municipal Consent and Access Agreement

In City of Calgary – Application concerning a Municipal Rights-of-Way Bylaw and a proposed Municipal Consent and Access Agreement, Telecom Decision CRTC 2019-19, 25 January 2019, the Commission directed the City of Calgary and the Respondent CarriersFootnote1 to file with the Commission, within 120 days of the date of the decision, a joint report on the results of their negotiations of certain terms of a Municipal Consent and Access Agreement.

By letter dated 30 May 2019, the Commission approved the request of Bell Canada, Rogers Communications Canada Inc., Shaw Communications Inc. and TELUS Communications Inc. (the Carriers) and Calgary (collectively, the Parties) for an extension to 30 August 2019 for filing the joint report.

By letter dated 10 September 2019, the Commission approved the request of the Parties for a second extension of the deadline to file the joint report to 31 October 2019.

By letter dated 29 October 2019, the Parties stated that while they continue to undertake negotiations on the identified provisions, additional time is required to finalize outstanding ones.

Therefore, they requested a third extension to 13 December 2019 for filing the joint report. By email dated 4 November 2019, Zayo Canada Inc. agreed with the request for the extension.
The Commission approves the request.

Sincerely,

Original signed by
