RE: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2019-57, Review of mobile wireless services – filing of information originally created in worksheet format

Dear Madam, Sir:

With the issuance of Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2019-57, the Commission initiated a proceeding to review mobile wireless services in Canada. For the purposes of developing the record of this proceeding, Commission staff issued requests for information related to that proceeding on 5 May, as amended on 24 May, and on 5 July, to parties identified in the distribution list.

Commission staff notes that some of the information submitted by a number of parties, notably the financial information, appears to have originally been generated in worksheets, and to have been converted into PDF format before being filed with the Commission. In order to facilitate the aggregation and analysis of the data by Commission staff and all interested parties, Commission staff is requesting that all parties identified in the distribution list that have previously submitted information initially produced in a worksheet (such as Excel) in a different format, to re-submit both the abridged and confidential versions of those responses only in an Excel version of the document. The abridged Excel worksheets will be added to the public record on the Commission’s website.

Note that this request will also need to be fulfilled by all parties, when applicable, for any further responses going forward.

All parties are requested to re-file, as appropriate, in Excel by Friday, September 20, 2019.

Sincerely,

Original signed by
