RE: Canadian Network Operators Consortium Inc. Part 1 Application to Review and Vary Review of wholesale wireline services, Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2015-326 and Follow-up to Telecom Regulatory Policy 2015-326 – Implementation of a disaggregated wholesale high-speed access service, including over fibre-to-the-premises access facilities, Telecom Decision CRTC 2016-379 – Request for extension to file reply comments
Dear Madams/Sirs:
The Commission is in receipt of a letter dated 3 April 2019 from the Canadian Network Operators Consortium Inc. (CNOC) requesting that the deadline for it to file reply comments in the above noted proceeding be extended to 13 May 2019.
In support of its request, CNOC submitted that it required additional time to respond to the significant amount of argument and evidence provided in the interventions in the proceeding. In addition, CNOC submitted that its regulatory resources were constrained because of its involvement in other regulatory proceedings affecting competitive service providers and an extension would enable it to make more fulsome submissions on the record.
Under the circumstances, Commission staff considers that the extension requested by CNOC is acceptable for the cited reasons.
Accordingly, Commission staff sets out the following modified process for the proceeding:
- CNOC may file reply comments to address any intervention by 13 May 2019.
In addition to filing documents with the Commission, CNOC is to serve all other parties with any document it files, and to send an electronic copy directly to the following Commission staff:
Lyne Renaud, lyne.renaud@crtc.gc.ca
William Lloyd, william.lloyd@crtc.gc.ca
Sincerely,
