Subject: Technical Amendment Licence Application – CKAD Middleton, Nova Scotia and CFBC Saint John, New Brunswick.

Dear Mr. Gauthier,

This letter is in reference to Part 1 applications filed by Maritime Broadcasting System Limited for technical amendments related to the English-language commercial radio programming undertakings CKAD Middleton, Nova Scotia and CFBC Saint John, New Brunswick. Commission staff notes that the licensee has submitted its application on Form 303 – Application for a technical amendment to a broadcasting licence for an analog radio programming undertaking and would like to reduce the number of towers for both CKAD Middleton, Nova Scotia and CFBC Saint John, New Brunswick.

Upon review of your request, commission staff identified that the Engineering Briefs provided with both applications do not contain the required 15 mV/m CONTOUR (AM) map. Accordingly, staff requests that these maps are provided no later than 25 October 2019, failing which, your applications may be returned to be completed and resubmitted with the Commission should you wish to pursue this proposal.

A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.

Should you need further information concerning this application, please do not hesitate to contact me by telephone at 873-354-6346 or by e-mail at Nicole.Dedier@crtc.gc.ca.

Yours Sincerely,
