Bell Aliant, a division of Bell Canada – Approval of a tariff application

1. The Commission approves the following tariff application:

   Bell Aliant, a division of Bell Canada	TN 536 General Tariff  - Removal of the Little Bay Islands, Newfoundland and Labrador exchange	4 October 2019	1 January 2020

2. The Commission received no interventions with respect to the application.
3. In accordance with the 2019 Policy Direction,^{Footnote 1} the Commission considers that this order, which is based on a complete record, can promote competition, affordability, consumer interests, and innovation. Specifically, approval of this application will promote consumer interests, since it (i) ensures that current customers have had an opportunity to submit comments about the proposed withdrawal, and (ii) clarifies that customers will no longer be receiving the telecommunications services in question in Little Bay Islands due to the relocation of the residents resulting from a decision taken by the provincial government.    
4. Revised tariff pages are to be issued within 10 calendar days of the date of this order. Revised tariff pages can be submitted to the Commission without a description page or a request for approval; a tariff application is not required.
