CJRM-FM Labrador City – Revocation of licence

Radio communautaire du Labrador Inc. has requested the revocation of the broadcasting licence for its French-language community radio station CJRM-FM Labrador City and its transmitters CKIJ-FM St. John’s and CKIP-FM La Grand’Terre, which was renewed in CJRM-FM Labrador City and its transmitters CKIJ-FM St. John’s and CKIP-FM La Grand’Terre – Licence renewal,Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2015-272, 22 June 2015.
Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to Radio communautaire du Labrador Inc. for CJRM-FM and its transmitters.
As a result of this revocation, the licence renewal application (2018-1102-6) for this station is withdrawn, and no further action is required.
