RE: Application filed under Part I from the City of Terrebonne for a municipal access agreement – File reactivation

Dear Madam/Sir,

On May 12, 2017, the Commission received an application under Part I from the City of Terrebonne (Terrebonne) for the approval of a proposed municipal access agreement (MAA).

Since September 2017, Terrebonne has asked the Commission on several occasions to suspend the file, indicating that negotiations have taken place between the parties that justify the suspension of the Part I. Each time, Bell Canada, Videotron Ltd., Rogers Communications Canada Inc., Telus Communications Company and Cogeco Connexion Inc. (collectively, the Companies) have expressed their consent to those requests. The file was therefore suspended on several occasions, the last time until October 31, 2018.

On October 31, 2018, Terrebonne indicated that, since June 2017, the parties have engaged in intense, multi-phase negotiations that have resulted in a partial MAA. According to Terrebonne, there are only a few issues that remain in dispute, and the parties are of the opinion that the most effective way to arrive at the final version of the MAA is to submit those remaining issues to the Commission. Terrebonne has therefore indicated that the parties have agreed to request that the file be reactivated by submitting a table containing only the clauses that remain in dispute so that those issues can be decided by the Commission.

In light of the foregoing, the above-referenced file is being reactivated according to the following schedule:

Sincerely,

Original signed by
