RE: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2018-339 (NoC 2018-339) - Request for Extension to File Intervention
Dear Sir:
On 14 September 2018 the Commission received a request from Northwestel to extend the deadline for filing its intervention to the above noted proceeding. In NoC 2018-339 the Commission required Northwestel to show cause why the Commission’s determinations set out in Telecom Decision 2008-14Footnote1 should not apply to Northwestel by 20 September 2018.
Northtwestel indicated that it has limited costing resources and will not be able to provide its intervention as required and accordingly requested an extension of the deadline to 3 October 2018. Northwestel also request that the remaining filing requirements in NoC 2018-339 also be extended by two weeks.
In the circumstance, the Commission finds it reasonable to extend the filing requirements as requested by two weeks as follows:
- Northwestel to file its intervention by 3 October 2018
- Parties to file their interventions by 18 October 2018, and
- Northwestel may file reply comments by 29 October 2018
