RE: Implementation of local competition for Tbaytel in the exchange of Dryden, Ontario

Dear Mr. Gilbert,

On 23 August 2018, Commission staff requested DMTS, a division of Bell Canada, to respond to a request for information by 30 August 2018 by answering a question regarding the implementation of local competition for Tbaytel in the exchange of Dryden, Ontario.

On 30 August 2018, the Commission received a letter from DMTS in which DMTS requested that the delay to respond to the request for information be extended to 17 September 2018. In support, it submitted that it was currently lacking a critical resource. It also noted that its request for an extension should not impact Tbaytel’s in-service date, as the work to complete the interconnection facilities, such as testing circuits and receiving orders (Access Special Routings) is continuing and is not affected by this request for information.

In the circumstances, DMTS’s request for extension is accepted. Accordingly, Commission staff is setting out the following revised process timeline:

Sincerely,
