Request for information addressed to each large incumbent local exchange carrier (large ILEC)
For the purpose of the following requests for information:
- Stand-alone primary exchange service (PES) means a local telephone service that includes unlimited calls within a geographical area and access to 9-1-1, message relay service (MRS) and toll services;
- Stand-alone residential PES customers subscribe to stand-alone residential PES and not to any additional services such as optional and/or toll services, plans, Internet, wireless, or television; and
- PES rates should exclude 9-1-1 and MRS fees.
The information is to be provided as of 30 June 2018, unless otherwise indicated, and separately for each province where the company serves as an ILEC.
- Provide the following information, by band, separately for regulated high-cost serving areas (HCSAs) and regulated non-HCSAs in Microsoft Excel tables using the format below:
- the total of number residential customers served; and
- the total number of stand-alone residential PES customers.
- Provide the annual revenues filed with the 2018 price cap filing by band for i) the HCSA residential services basket and ii) the non-HCSA residential services basket.
- Provide the following information in a Microsoft Excel table using the format below for regulated areas, by band or sub-band as applicable:
- the minimum price floor for stand-alone residential PES approved by the Commission;
- the maximum price ceiling for stand-alone residential PES approved by the Commission;
- the lowest retail price at which the company offered stand-alone residential PES; and
- the highest retail price at which the company offered stand-alone residential PES.
