CKEZ-FM New Glasgow and CKOS-FM Fort McMurray – Administrative renewals
- The Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the English-language commercial radio programming undertaking CKEZ-FM New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, and the English-language specialty (Christian music) radio programming undertaking CKOS-FM Fort McMurray, Alberta, from 1 September 2018 to 28 February 2019, subject to the same terms and conditions as those in effect under the current licence.
- This decision follows from Broadcasting Decisions 2018-240 and 2018-280 wherein the Commission approved applications from Newcap Inc. and United Christian Broadcasters Media Canada to acquire the assets of CKEZ-FM and CKOS-FM from Hector Broadcasting Limited and King’s Kids Promotions Outreach Ministries Incorporated, respectively. As stated in those decisions, the Commission will issue new broadcasting licences to Newcap Inc. and United Christian Broadcasters Media Canada upon surrender of the current licences.
