CBX Edmonton and its transmitter CBXM-FM Manning – Technical changes – Correction

  1. In Broadcasting Decision 2018-103, issued 23 March 2018, the Commission incorrectly identified CBX Edmonton as CBX-FM Edmonton in the title and in paragraph 1. The corrected title appears above and the corrected paragraph 1, with the change in bold, is set out below:
    1. The Commission approves the application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) to change the authorized contours of CBXM-FM Manning, a rebroadcasting transmitter of the English-language radio programming undertaking CBX Edmonton, Alberta (Radio One), by changing the antenna’s radiation pattern from non-directional to directional, increasing the maximum effective radiated power (ERP) from 13,500 to 14,400 watts, decreasing the average ERP from 13,500 to 7,790 watts, increasing the effective height of the antenna above average terrain from 105 to 118.84 metres and correcting the existing coordinates. The Commission did not receive any interventions regarding this application.
