RE: Request to suspend the application filed under Part 1 by the City of Terrebonne for a
Municipal Access Agreement – Procedural Letter

Dear Madam, Sir:

On 12 May 2017, the Commission received a Part 1 application from the City of Terrebonne (Terrebonne) for approval of a proposed Municipal Access Agreement (MAA).

On 1 June 2017, Terrebonne asked the Commission to suspend the file until September 2017, indicating that negotiations had been held between the parties which justified the suspension of the Part I. On 8 June 2017, Bell Canada, Vidéotron G.P., Rogers Communications G.P., Telus Communications Company and Cogeco Connexion Inc. (collectively, the Carriers) indicated that they consented to the request. The file was suspended.

On 13 September 2017, Terrebonne asked the Commission to further extend the suspension of the file until 30 November 2017, indicating that negotiations are still being held between the parties which justified the suspension of the Part I. On 14 September 2017, the Commission received a letter from the Carriers indicating that they agreed to the request to further suspend the file submitted by Terrebonne. The file was then suspended and Terrebonne was asked to indicate, no later than 30 November 2017, whether it wishes to reactivate, withdraw or request an extension of the suspension of its Part I application.

On 30 November 2017, Terrebonne again asked the Commission to further extend the suspension of the file, this time until 30 March 2018, indicating that negotiations are still being held between the parties which justified the suspension of the Part I. On 30 November 2017, the Commission also received a letter from the Carriers indicating that they agreed to the request to further suspend the file submitted by Terrebonne until 30 March 2018.

In light of the above, the above-mentioned file is suspended. Terrebonne is asked to indicate, no later than 30 March 2018, whether it wishes to reactivate, withdraw or request an extension of the suspension of its Part I application.

Sincerely,
