RE:  Review of the competitor quality of service regime, Telecom Notice of Consultation 2017-49Footnote1 – Request for additional information

Dear Sir:

In a letter dated 23 February 2017, as amended by a letter dated 13 March 2017, the Commission requested information from Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel) and other incumbent local exchange carriers, cable carriers, and incumbent wireless carriers about their historical and forecasted mandated wholesale service volumes and revenues. On 10 April 2017, Northwestel provided its response, with the requested information submitted in confidential attachments. In a footnote regarding its Wholesale Connect service, it specified that it had excluded #information provided to the Commission in confidence#.

Commission staff considers that this information would help with the assessment of the issues in this proceeding. Consequently, Northwestel is to provide the requested historical and forecasted service volume and revenue information as it pertains to #information provided to Northwestel in confidence# for Wholesale Connect service, by 23 August 2017.

Sincerely,
