RE:  Extension Request for CISC Examination of Network Notification

Dear Sir:

In TekSavvy Solutions Inc. – Application regarding transitional access to aggregated wholesale high-speed access service, Telecom Decision 2016-446, 9 November 2016, the Commission requested the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) to examine the following and report back to the Commission within 120 days of the date of the decision (i.e. by 26 March 2017):

The CISC Steering Committee assigned the above request to the Business Process Working Group (BPWG).

By letter, dated 2 March 2017, the BPWG stated that more contributions from the industry are expected and the working group report addressing the request would likely not be ready in time for the original due date of 26 March 2017. The BPWG, therefore, requested an extension until 1 May 2017 to submit the report.
In the present circumstances, the Commission approves the BPWG’s request.

Yours sincerely,
