Re: Publication of information concerning Call for comments on the Governor in Council’s request for a report on future programming distribution models – Broadcasting Notices of Consultation CRTC 2017-359 and 2017-359-1

This is in response to your letter filed on 22 November 2017 requesting a Commission determination with respect to the publication of the following:

Both Unifor and the Forum for Research and Policy in Communications have filed letters in support of this request.

The Commission publishes data in relation to many types of services, including digital media broadcasting undertakings, in its Communications Monitoring Report. The Report is available on the CRTC website and may be helpful in the preparation of your comments. In addition, the Commission has published today a reference document with Notice of Consultation 2017-359-2 that contains information and data related to these undertakings and is intended to inform and assist interested parties who wish to participate in this proceeding.

In light of the above, the Commission considers that this response addresses your request.

Yours sincerely,

Chris Seidl
Acting Secretary General
