Dear Ms. Lafontaine:
This is in reference to application 2017-0380-2 by Ethnic Channels Group Limited (ECGL) to add DOCUBOX, a 24-hour niche service (100% English-language) providing documentary programming including films and series that explore the mysteries and beauty of our planet to the List of non-Canadian programming services and stations authorized for distribution.
As per the letter by ECGL, dated 15 June 2017, requesting not to proceed with the above-noted application, the Commission has closed the file.
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
