RE: Northwestel Inc. Tariff Notice 962
Dear Sir:
On 25 October 2016, the Commission received an application by Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel) under Tariff Notice 962, in which Northwestel proposed to revise its General Tariff Item 1735, Terrestrial ADSL and Cable Internet services, to permit Reserved IP on residential Internet services on a grandfathered basis.
On 9 November 2016, Northwestel filed a letter requesting to withdraw the above-noted application from consideration by the Commission. The company stated that it had concluded that the application should have been filed as a destandardization application. It therefore proposed to withdraw the application and also indicated that it would resubmit a new tariff notice at a later date.
In the circumstance, Northwestel`s request to withdraw its application is acceptable. Accordingly this file is closed.
Sincerely,
Original signed by
