Re: Review of basic telecommunications services, Telecom Notice of Consultation 2015-134—Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Inc. Application for Costs Award
In order to assist in the consideration of the above-noted application, Mantioba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Inc. (MKO) is, by no later than 14 November 2016:
- To confirm that its claims for external legal fees, as reflected in its Bill of Costs, represent the amounts that the Public Interest Law Centre (PILC) has billed to MKO for legal representation during the course of the Review of basic telecommunications services proceeding. MKO is to provide any supporting documentation, not already provided, that relates to such amounts.
- If the fees claimed in MKO’s Bill of Costs do not represent actual amounts billed by PILC, MKO is to provide an updated Bill of Costs that does represent such amounts.
MKO may also make additional representations regarding why the fees claimed for external legal counsel were reasonably and necessarily incurred in the circumstances, in light of any additional information provided and the existing record of the costs application.
Any other parties to the application for costs may comment on the additional submissions of MKO by no later than 17 November 2016.
