Re: Review of basic telecommunications services, Telecom Notice of Consultation 2015-134—OpenMedia Application for Costs Award—Procedural Request

The purpose of this letter is to solicit comment from parties on a procedural request filed by OpenMedia in the above-noted costs proceeding.

On 31 August 2016, OpenMedia filed a revised bill of costs as well as a procedural request seeking to extend the time period for filing this revision. OpenMedia submitted that the need for a revised bill of costs was only brought to its attention through the Answers of potential costs respondents and that accepting the revised bill of costs would benefit, rather than prejudice, these potential costs respondents as the revision resulted in a lower total award of costs sought.

Commission staff hereby solicits comment on this procedural request. Any party may file comments on OpenMedia’s request by no later than 7 September 2016.  OpenMedia may file a reply by no later than 9 September 2016.
