RE: Northwestel Tariff Notice 949 – Introduction of CLEC DNA Service

Dear Sir,

On 9 June 2016, the Commission received an application by Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel) under Tariff Notice 949, in which Northwestel proposed to introduce Local Network Interconnection tariff CRTC 21481, Item 110 Competitive Local Exchange Carrier Digital Network Access (CLEC DNA) service.

Given the issues raised by parties, Commission staff is continuing its analysis of the application.

Consequently, the application will not be disposed of on the 45th business day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to issue a decision on the application as soon as possible.
