RE: Application for costs by the Canadian Association of the Deaf in Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2015-134, Review of basic telecommunications services – Request for Extension
Dear Mr. Roots:
The Commission is in receipt of your letter dated 13 July 2016 in which you request an extension until 29 July 2016 for the filing of the Canadian Association of the Deaf’s (CAD’s) application for costs, in respect of the organization’s participation in the above-noted proceeding.
In support of your request, you cited the unavailability of a key resource due to illness, as well as resource constraints due to the CAD’s Annual General Meeting.
Commission staff considers that the CAD’s request for an extension is reasonable in the circumstances. Accordingly, the CAD may file its application for costs by no later than 29 July 2016. As usual, potential costs respondents will have ten days from the date of the application to file their answer with the Commission
