Please be advised that the following additional information has been added to the record of the proceeding initiated by Telecom Notice of Consultation 2015-134:

1. Let’s Talk Broadband Findings Report

   As announced in NoC 2015-134-3, the Commission contracted an external consulting firm, EKOS Research Associates Inc. (EKOS), to conduct a study of Canadians’ usage of telecommunications services. EKOS produced a report summarizing the results of its questionnaire, focus groups, and telephone interviews. The report was released on 30 March 2016.

2. Measuring Broadband Canada Preliminary Report

   In November 2015, it was announced that approximately 4,500 participants were taking part in the ‘Measuring Broadband Canada' project, whose goal is to measure the performance of broadband Internet services across the country. The Commission published the project’s preliminary report on 31 March 2016.

3. Broadband Internet availability map

   By letter dated 22 March 2016, parties to the proceeding were informed that the Commission intended to publish an interactive map depicting the estimated availability of broadband Internet access services at or above the Commission’s target speeds of 5 megabits per second (Mbps) download and 1 Mbps upload. This map was made available on the Commission’s website on 6 April 2016.

4. Decision and record of proceeding regarding Telesat Canada’s price ceiling

   In Telecom Notice of Consultation 2015-133,^{Footnote 2} the Commission initiated a proceeding to review Telesat Canada’s price ceiling for C-band fixed satellite services. Today, the Commission issued its decision in this matter.^{Footnote 3}
