Re: Application #2014-0147-1 for a new radio programming undertaking to serve Gravenhurst/Bracebridge, Ontario

Dear Mr. Kentner,

This is in reference to your letters dated 11 March and 24 March 2016 relating to the application by Bayshore Broadcasting Corporation (Bayshore) for a new broadcasting licence to operate an English-language commercial FM radio programming undertaking in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, Ontario (application 2014-0147-1) and its removal from the 22 March 2016 public hearing.
The application was initially published pursuant to Part 3 of the CRTC Rules of Practice and Procedure as part of a public process. It was scheduled to be heard at a non-appearing public hearing held on 22 March 2016 (Notice of Hearing, Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2016-20, 20 January 2016), but since the application required further consideration, it was withdrawn to be rescheduled at a later date.

The Commission acknowledges the concerns you raised with respect to your application. The application is scheduled to be heard at the next available non-appearing public hearing, which will be held on 13 July 2016 (Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2016-176, 10 May 2016).

Please note that a copy of this letter and of your above-noted correspondence will be added to the public record for your application.

Should you need further information concerning your application, please do not hesitate to contact Valentina Bourgeois by telephone at 819-997-9350 or by fax at 819-994-0218.

Yours sincerely,

Danielle May-Cuconato
