Re: Complaint alleging non-compliance of the community channel Matv, operated by Videotron Inc. broadcast distribution undertaking in Montreal
This letter is in reference to the complaint filed to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission by CSUR LA TÉLÉ dated 21 December 2015. In this complaint, CSUR LA TÉLÉ is alleging that the broadcasting distribution undertaking operated by Videotron Inc. (Vidéotron) in the licensed service area in the region of Montreal, is in non-compliance with a number of its regulatory requirements.
Since the parties related to this complaint are also involved in the review of the policy framework for local and community television programming, CRTC 2015-421, the deadlines to participate to this complaint’s process are now the following:
- Response by Videotron: 15 April 2016;
- Reply by CSUR LA TÉLÉ: 5 May 2016.
