Re: Applications by Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of Videotron G.P. – Revised dates with regard to the Part 1 process

Ms. Tabet,

We are in receipt of the Part 1 applications filed by Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of Videotron G.P. (Videotron) on 15 January 2016 requesting that the Commission approve a condition of licence (COL) to distribute more than 10 television stations as part of the basic service in Granby, Sherbrooke, Terrebonne, Montréal Ouest, Montréal, and Gatineau, as an exception to section 17(6) of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations (the Regulations).

Videotron further requested that the applications be processed on an expedited basis in order to implement the service offering by 1 March 2016, the date the amendments to the Regulations come into force.

In order to process these applications in a timely manner, the Part 1 process is modified as follows:

A copy of this letter, as well as your response, dated 22 January 2016, to a request for additional information, and all related correspondence will be added to the record of this proceeding.
