RE:   Review of Telesat Canada’s price ceiling for C-band fixed satellite services – New information added to the record of the proceeding

Dear Madam/Sir:

The services of Northern Sky Research were recently engaged to conduct an analysis of the market for C-band fixed satellite services in Canada. The document is titled Canada C-band Market Analysis – Supply, Demand, & Pricing Assessment, 2014-2024 (the NSR report).  Abridged versions of the document are attached in both English and French.

Parties are hereby notified that the NSR report now forms part of the record of the Review of Telesat Canada’s price ceiling for C-band fixed satellite services proceeding, as initiated by Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2015-133. The documents will also be made available on the CRTC website, under the record of this proceeding.

In view of this new information, which may be considered by the Commission when making its decisions in this proceeding, parties are hereby provided an opportunity to review and provide comments on the contents of the report.

Parties may therefore file comments pertaining to the information and analysis contained in the NSR report no later than 15 December 2015. Parties may file replies to these comments no later than 21 December 2015.
