Re: Request for an extension of the deadline to reply to Answer and Interventions to Part 1 Application by DiversityCanada/NPF to review and vary Telecom Decision CRTC 2015-211 8662-D53-201509077
Dear Mr Kindiak:
The Commission is in receipt of a letter, dated 18 September 2015, from DiversityCanada Foundation (DiversityCanada) and the National Pensioners Federation (NPF) requesting an extension to the current filing date of 28 September 2015 for submission of their Reply Comments in the above noted proceeding.
DiversityCanada submitted that an extension is necessary to provide DiversityCanada and NPF an adequate opportunity to fully review the record of the proceeding and prepare comprehensive reply comments, in light of their limited resources, working “on an ad hoc basis, around their regular business activities.” Accordingly, DiversityCanada/NPF requested an extension of the filing date to 12 October 2015.
Given that DiversityCanada/NPF’s request does not prejudice other parties to this proceeding, Commission staff considers that the extension requested by DiversityCanada/NPF is reasonable. Accordingly, DiversityCanada/NPF is to file reply comments with the Commission, serving copies on all other parties, by 13 October 2015, as the requested date is a statutory holiday and any documents received on that date would be considered as having been received the day after.
Yours sincerely,
